Miss
Lilly, also known as Lil, children’s entertainer currently
has been exclusively performing with the highly acclaimed U.S. Parent
Choice Award Winner “Markus” and has been part of all
his musical audio releases: www.markusmusic.com
Miss
Lilly began her performance career at the very young age of 3. Her
rendition of “Six Little Ducks” won her a singing contest
at the CNE Bandshell Toronto, Canada. She studied piano, violin,
guitar and vocals throughout her school years at The Royal Conservatory
of Music. By her mid-teens, Lilian (Miss Lilly’s given name)
and her younger sister Manon had recorded and released their first
original works. As teenagers, the sisters Lilian and Manon toured
with “The International Stars of Europe” in Canada,
recorded in Warsaw Poland, and Nashville Tennessee. Lilian and Manon
went on and became the lead singers of “Skyliner” who
recorded on The Mercey Brothers Label and attained a top 30 single
on the Canadian Country Charts in 1982. You can read the highlights,
hear selected recordings and follow their careers by logging onto
lilianmanon.com. It was
at this time, the early 1980’s that children’s music
and stories would start to make an impact on Lil’s life. Lilian,
now a mother, branched out and became part of a C.B.S. recording
children’s rock n’roll group (a two-time Juno nominee),
and became an author of her 1st children’s book “Sky
Blue” released on Golden Book Tapes. This is when and where
she met “Markus”.
Doing
what she loves, Miss Lilly has been performing for children across
North America for over 20 years. Miss Lilly combines an educational
fun filled musical program for toddlers to school age children full
of action songs, finger plays and stories that enhances their motor
skills and imaginations. Every engagement is a specially planned
out performance. Be part of the musical magic.
