Lilian began her professional career at the very young age of 3 years and it was her rendition of “Six Little Ducks”, that won her 2nd place at a singing contest that was held at the CNE GRANDSTAND in Toronto. She went on with her parents support to study piano,violin,guitar and vocal throughout her school years at The Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto in which she became one of the first violinist in the Toronto Youth Symphony Orchestra.It was during her mid-teens when Lilian along with her younger sister Manon started their musical journey together in which you can follow their highlights all here among the pages of this website. By the early 1980s, children's music and stories would start to make a strong impact on her life and when Lilian became a mother,she decided to branch out in the children's field and became known as “Miss Lilly” as well as “Lil” under Toronto's Children's Hour Productions. Here she became a regular member of the high energy CBS Recording Children's Rock n' Roll Group,“But I'm Just A Kid” who went on to earn two Juno Nominations. Lilian was then signed to “Golden Music ”, a division of Golden Book who released her very first children's story on audio cassette entitled, “Sky Blue”. Lilian not only wrote the story herself but narrated and provided her vocal talents on tracks like “The Spider and The Butterfly” and “Look Away” which were on the soundtrack plus others as well. It was during this time, when Lilian was introduced to the highly acclaimed US Parent Choice Award Winner and soon to become YTV / Treehouse personality, “Markus” (Bob The Builder) and continued to perform exclusively alongside with him and provided vocals on his numerous CD recordings.Lilian proudly contributed as vocal arranger and sang backup and vocal harmony on Markus's 2001 Juno Nominated CD, “I Like You“  in the “Best Children's Album” category. Doing what she knows and loves best, Lilian has been performing for children and parents across North America ever since. Lilian has also performed on tour live with TVO's renowned "Polkaroo" and created her very own self penned interactive "Kids Club" performed live on stages across Canada.With her most recent project, Lilian hooked up with her high school colleague , a very prominent and talented lady of many voices and styles,Toronto's very own www.kathythompson.ca Kathy produced Lilian's second and latest release entitled,          >>         "Baby Polar"       <<
